The Whiteside Legacy

Hiya all!

As you can see, I started a legacy. It probably won't be read by all that many people, but ssh.
I'm not going to stick by all the official rules, although I'll try to as much as possible, and I don't know yet if I'm keeping track of points, depends on how difficult that is to me. I didn't read the rules before starting anyway, so already moved my heir to a smaller lot. And added 4,000 to her funds, so she started at 20,000 like all sims 2 families did. I'll move them to a larger lot soon though, as soon as they can afford to, so that part won't be too much cheating.
Besides that I've been doing it by the rules; no cheating or stuff like that. I did let her marry a rich sim, turns out he was only considered rich because he lived in a large house with two more people. So he didn't bring in all that much money. Thus I don't consider that cheating either.

Anyway, time for the founder.
Meet Dani Whiteside;

She's a neurotic, over-emotional and excitable vegetarian, with a natural talent for cooking.
She loves kids music, veggie hamburgers and the colour lilac.


Time for my very first update!

First things first, housebuilding! Since Dani is on a rather small lot, lots of money was left to build her a house. Now I hate building, never do it and am not good at it, so I'm proud of how it came out.

So, what is the first thing every girl should do after moving into a new town? But of course, look for man candy! Off we went.


This isn't too bad, if you look around the mustache, but Dani can do better than a Broke-family member.
Dani:"I can? Yay, that's such great news, I'm so excited!!" Never mind her, she's just being over-excited again.


Now this is a cute one! But alas, he's taken. While Dani might be slightly insane, but getting in between a woman and her man just isn't her thing. So, the search continued.


Then this came running along. Not bad, not bad at all. Soon enough Dani found out he was single, considered rich, a loner and over-emotional, just like she is. There might be better genes in town, but Dani has more to do, besides finding her a good baby-maker. Dani:"I do? Awesome!!" We know Dani, believe me, we know. His name is Billy, btw.


By the time the sun went down Dani had joined the culinary career and had made a new friend. Next on the to do list: eat, sleep, go to work, lure Billy in your house.


So, Dani prepared her very first meal in her very own kitchen. Mac and cheese, always good, and meatless! By now Dani was dead-tired, so went off to bed.

While she's sleeping, I might as well give you a tour of the house, right?


First things first, the front door and the hall. Not too exciting, but hey, it has plants.


This is Dani's living room, she can't afford a tv just yet, but I did get her a book-case!


More living room. Billy is artistic, so Dani needs an easel. Besides, it looks nice!


Kitchen, yay. Single most important room of the house, and the place where Dani enjoys checking if she turned the stove off or let the water running. Those neurotic sims sure do like to 'check, check, double check!' everything in their house.


And of course, the dining room. Nothing fancy yet, but at least it all matches, and she can sit down to eat!


The bathroom is up next, here we can see the shower and the bath-tub. Don't really need both, but I still had some money and room for it, so whatever.


And the other half of the bathroom. Just your basic stuff, nothing too special. Besides the pinkness, obviously.


And we're ending the tour in the bedroom. Here we can see Dani's love for sponges and her pretty wallpaper. So shiney!


We're just in time to see Dani wake up. Good morning lovely! Dani: "Well hello, isn't it a beautiful day? And it's my first day of work, I'm so excited!" What a surprise..


Dani + dresser = no good. Dani:"I do not approve! Might have to start checking the dresser too, before bed." Please don't, you're checking enough stuff already, mkay?


Gladly ignoring my cry for mercy, Dani took a shower. She did not like that it was rather cheap and thus tended to give her some cold water, every once in a while. Dani:"What does a girl have to do to get a decent shower around here?" Earn money Dani, that's why you have to go and eat, because work is nearly starting.


Dani:"Oeh, food, good idea, I'm, hungry!" Veggie autumn salad for Dani, yummy food for all other sims..


Off to work she went, in her spiffy work-outfit. Dani:"I can't wait!"

[Last time: A house tour, Dani meets a potential baby-maker and goes to work.]

Last time when we left Dani, she was off to work. By now she has returned, taken care of her needs and has called Billy to invite him over. Luckily, he accepted, so lets see where they are now.


Oh, it looks as if Dani is a bit busy. Lets wait until she comes up for some air. *minutes pass* Ah, there she is. Dani:"Hiya! I reallyreally like this guy! Can I pleaeaease ask him to stay over?" Well of course, you need a baby-maker friend.


Billy agreed, as you can see. While they look al lovey-dovey here, they didn't really do anything yet. I mean, there was a lot of kissing, but there were no hearts falling on beds or anything. Dani does seem to genuinely like Billy though, so that's good.


Soon enough, Dani got herself out of bed. Dani:"Look, since you seem to like, control what I do or something, could I please propose to Billy? He's so nice, and I'm really excited!" The excitement is a real surprise, of course. But hell, why not. Lets hope he doesn't have commitment issues!


Look at that happy couple! Aren't they cuteeee? Dani already seems to planning for the wedding, I'm guessing she's "soooo excited!".


I decided they'll get married right then and there though. Dani:"But why? I wanted a big wedding, at the beach, or in an hot air balloon, and with white pigeons holding our rings, and.." Ssh Dani. Remember how Billy is a loner? He doesn't like big weddings, there's too many people there. Besides, you're poor, you can't afford that. You don't know any people anyway.


Lookit, they're all sweet and cuddly! They luvvv one another. ^^


They're totally meant to be as well, see? Billy + dresser = no good.


Billy had a make-over! And now you of course want to know aaall about him. His traits are; loner, over-emotional, slob, inappropriate, artistic. His slobbyness gives Dani the chance to clean up, which makes her happy. Yay for perfect combinations! His favourites are custom music, hamburgers (just like Dani!), and the colour black. Emo all the way.


Dani still enjoys checking stuff. Here she's checking if she reallyreally turned of the water. She really has to double-check now, with her slobby husband. Dani:"I know! Before you know it, his slobbiness made him forget to turn the water off!" Meanwhile I had gotten Billy a job in the music career, since he's artistic and wants to gain maximum guitar and painting skill amounts (or something like that). So, they both went off to work.


After work and filling needs, it was time for their very first woo-hoo! Hearts were falling, and moans were heard.


Dani is all lovey-dovey again. Dani:"I love my husband! Every day I wake up and when I remember I'm married to such a lovely man, I get so emotional!" Oooh right, I almost forgot, Dani is over-emotional just like Billy.


Since Billy is such a lovely slob, Dani got lots of chances to refine her cleaning-skill. Dani:"Look at all the bubbles. It makes everything so lovely squeaky-clean!"


Before going to work, Dani even managed to repair her sink. Dani:"Darn water, splashing everywhere. It makes such a mess!"


After a nice and useful workday, Dani has grilled cheese for dinner. Like a true.. sim?.. she leaves her crusts though. (I actually think it's really cute, but ssh!)


The next morning Dani is a bit nauseous. Later that morning she has another nausea-spell. Could she accidentally have eaten something with meat in it? Dani:"I don't know what's causing it, but I don't like it one bit!"

Another quite short update this time. Don't worry, the next one will be rather lengthy, since I played non-stop yesterday. ^.^'

Dani has made a discovery since you saw her last time.


Dani:"Look-it, I'm pregnant!" She seemed to be the only one who didn't see that coming, but ssh. Billy doesn't know yet though. Dani:"Oeh, I'll go tell him!!"


Dani:"Honey, I'm pregnant!" He actually seemed surprised as well! And then he gave Dani the thumbs up..


He immediately wanted to feel her tummy though, so that's cute! Wat a lovely couple they are indeed. <3


Dani:"Isn't he cute, listening to my tummy and all? It makes both of us a bit emotional.." I'd say he looks a tad dumb, but cute will work as well! And sigh, you over-emotional couple.


Meanwhile, a nursery had to be created. I still hadn't read the legacy rules by this time, so instead of saving to move them to the insanely big lot, I built them a nursery, from the bonus Billy got when he had a promotion (yay!).


More nursery! Dani was still at job-level 1 at this point, since she was on maternity leave. But I was pretty sure that she'd get a promotion as soon as she got back to work.


Dani's belly was slowly expanding, as time passed. That apparently gave Billy the idea of talking to the baby. Dani:"We're both hoping it's a girl, so Billy keeps saying she to my belly. I love him so much!" Man, would both of you cut back on the emotionality? Billy, go paint, Dani, go buy watermelons!


Since both of them had developed the wish to have a girl, I put Dani on a watermelon diet. Dani:"One watermelon, okay.. Two, I can live with as well. But watermelons for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Whyyy?" You did this to yourself Dani, by wishing for a girl..


Dani:"Glurp.. Crap, what's this?" Ah, I'd say it's baby-time Dani!


Dani:"Aaah, this hurts! Billyyyyyy!!" Calm down honey. You see, he even managed to wake up, just for you! *pokes Billy* Hurry up, fool.


There's a lot to say about Dani, but she is a tough one! Cycling to the hospital, while her water already broke.


Billy followed in a cab.. And then ran in, hoping he was still on time. Which he was.


Both parents were filled with happiness when it turned out they had a girl.


Dani loved her to bits and pieces already, and put her down for a nap as soon as they got home.


Meet Kelly, who rolled the traits artistic and light sleeper and loves indie music, fish and chips and the colour of sea foam.

Kelly's birth has given both Dani and Billy a mood-boost.


Dani being her over-excited self was reallyreally happy when i told her to go take care of her baby girl. Dani:"Yay, this is so great!"


Aww, look at them, being all sweet and cozy together!


After that, it was time to update the stove. Because yes, banging it for hours with a hammer does make it unbreakable indeed!


During her maternity leave Dani had written a book. They received a complimentary issue in their mail, so Billy gave it a try.


Billy also got another promotion, doesn't he look awesome? xD


D'awwie, even daddy is bonding with little Kelly.


Meanwhile Dani was making the computer unbreakable. It looks better than banging the stove, that's for sure. Dani:"Stop the complaining, lady! Djeez, I don't see you upgrading anything."


Billy had gotten to the point where he can paint still-lives so I had him try his hand at a heir-portrait. I had it around for quite some days but in the end it was just too ugly, and had to go.


With Dani's maternity leave coming to an end, they needed a babysitter. This one was good! Took care of the baby ànd mopped the floor over and over (since the shower hadn't been fixed before he came).


Seee? I have proof, he actually took care of her!!


Soon enough it was time for Kelly's birthday. Billy was being his inappropriate self and laughed at her during the complete aging-process.


Sparkles everywhere! This is such a sparkly game.


All grown up, aaaww.


Going potty is something that requires a lot of attention, you know.

Meanwhile I had finally managed to get Billy a guitar, so he'd been working on improving his playing-skills so he could get more promotions.


He had also taken up on some gardening, since that's always useful.


Both Dani and Billy had to go to work, so a new babysitter arrived. This one actually put leftovers away in the fridge. I love these babysitters!!


After work Billy had found the graveyard, and the catacombs (I really want that magical gnome!). He did not enjoy encountering a bear, although I still don';t get how that gave him a burnt look. Billy:"No comment." Oh look at that, he's starting to talk back at me. What fun!


Not much interesting stuff happened, so before you knew it, it was time for another birthday for Kelly!


The grow-up dance is so cuuuute!


And here she is! Since she didn't learn all her toddler-skills the game picked her next trait. It decided to give her the family-oriented one. I'm fiiine with that. ^^


Meanwhile Dani had some nausea-issues again..


Upon her first day of school Kelly gave the bus driver quite some suspicious looks. Never trust the guy with the baseball cap!


After school she was invited over to some girls house (who by now is her bestest friend), and the played tag. What other game should any sim-child ever play?


She finished her homework while she was there as well, and thus got to visit the art-gallery, since that was her wish. Which rolled her this lifetime wish. I guess little Kelly takes after her dad. Too bad that I can't buy Kelly her own easel yet, since I have to save up to move them to that huge-ass lot.


Billy went exploring the graveyard again, and harvested a death-flower. Looks pretty awesome if you ask me. ^^


He also caught a Japanese beetle. Now isn't that... cute?


By now I realized that mom and daughter never hung out together, so I made them eat dinner together. Meanwhile Dani had started showing again.


When bedtime rolled around Kelly got to rub Dani's belly, before going to bed. They look so sweet! <3

More sparklies!! And it's a boy, just like both Dani and Billy had wished for. And that without any apples!


Meet Roy Whiteside, who is both brave as good. I likes kids music, cheese steak and the colour hot pink.


At the same time Billy realized it was his birthday today. Time to become all grown up (or at least close). Dani was not interested. Dani:"Hey, if he doesn't care about me giving birth to his son, I don't have to care about him growing old." I'm guessing he hurt somebody's feelings. Not too hard when they're over-emotional of course.


Lookit, wrinkles! Billy:"The wrinkles only increase my hotness. Just look at this face!" Anyway... moving on!


Dani rolled two wishes during that day; 'brush teeth 2 times' and 'brush teeth 3 times'. Well, that was easy!


Oh lookit, I got her a tattoo! Nearly forgot about that. Ain't it pretty? And the butterfly as well, the 'catch butterfly' animations are all so cute!


Before I knew it, Dani was turning old as well. Dani:"But my mind will always be young!" Of course Dani, whatever helps you sleep at night (did anybody get this reference, please?).


More wrinkles! Dani:"Darn it, look ow old I got!" *sniffles*

She got over it pretty quick though, because I got her the Collection Helper. Look at all the pretty shinies!


Oh look at that, it's time for Roy's birthday! Since mom is out collecting rocks (it's good money!) and dad is working, his sister is all the company he had.


Who, by the way, also had a birthday. Would you look at that.


Here we have Roy, after his make-over. So cute!


And our big girl Kelly. I personally think she's extremely gorgeous! Oh and I rolled her the trait clumsy, woooh for getting to pick a trait myself. xD


School gave her the opportunity to get a part-time job. Since every penny helps, I decided to give in so Kelly is now a receptionist at the spa.


After which she went off to collect rocks. And look, there's butterflies as well!


Since this was Kelly's very first time making homework as a teen, she decided to ask Dani for help. She happily obliged. Dani:"Of course, I'm so excited that she asked me!" Well, look who recovered from the realization that she's old! Dani:"Shut up."


Every legacy should have a cute toddler-in-toybox-shot, so here is mine. How will I ever choose a heir?


Dani obviously doesn't know either. Dani:"What to do with such a boy?"

Whee, update! Took me long enough as well, but I've been to France. Anyway, enjoy more Whiteside weirdness. ^^

Since I had downloaded lots of shiny new stuff, the whole family got make-overs!


So, here's the new couple. Both got new outfits, and new hair. Prettyyy, right?


And here's Kelly and Roy with their new looks. Roy is just too darn adorable. ^^


Dani has been busy teaching Roy all his toddler-skills. I don't really see the use of it, but hey, it gets her more points (here I come collection helper!). Dani:"Pardon me, would you mind giving the boy some privacy?" Tssjk, says the lady who's standing in front of him, waiting until he's finished..


Meanwhile Kelly was in dire need of help with her homework, so Billy came to the rescue. Billy:"So yeah, if you mix blue and yellow, you get green!" Kelly:"G, thanks dad."


Dani would've helped, but she was busy exploring the catacombs. And she finally found the object that was the reason for me making her go in there, time after time.


Soo, welcome the latest family member; Paulus the mysterious gnome!


After Dani's return home she and Billy were ready for some loooove-making! Thus, Roy was shoo-ed out of the room. At least they didn't just do it with him in the room, they're becoming better parents each day!


And off they went! No jingles were heard though, but that's a gooood thing since I don't want Dani pregnant at the moment.


Oh also, meet Kelly's boy-toy! His name is Jameel (Wilkerson).


Look, here they are studying together, isn't that cuuuute? I really have a lot of shots of Kelly doing homework..


Meanwhile, more toddler-skills were being taught. Roy was still a bit wobbly, but walking nonetheless!


Daddy Billy was proud as well. I love these father-son pictures. ^^


Kelly and boy-toy were finally moving forward. Work those looks girl!


D'aaww, first kiss! Isn't that cuuuute. Kelly:"Would you mind? Come on lady.."


And here she's asking him to go steady, he agreed, so they kissed again. I adore teen-love!


Look at the cuteness!! Kelly:"Sigh, it's hopeless. Let's just go inside, please."


Mkay, less cuteness. Still lots of luuvv though! Kelly:"Oh come on!!"


Somewhere around this time I moved the family to their insanely large house, and upgraded their house. The second bathroom that's seen here was added after Roy grew up, but I don't want to bore you with too many house-shots.


The house-upgrade also meant that the kids finally had some more toys. So here's Roy, being adorable and eating blocks.


Meanwhile, Billy and Dani found one another again. They're still pretty crazy about each other.


Jingles were heard,and chances of multiples are high now that Dani got a fertility treatment.


Billy is showing to be quite the father, as seen here. He's playing air guitar and meanwhile keeping an eye on his son, whom he just handed his bottle.


Mkay, last shot of ubercute toddler Roy. Don't you just want to cuddle him?


Sadly he's due to grow up today. There's nobody there to witness it, but he doesn't seem to mind.


Here he is, all grown-up and made-over. He developed the friendly trait. Still cute, right?


Dani and Roy are bestest friends, and enjoy spending time together. Silly faces are a great way of doing that, of course!


This pregnancy is starting to get to Dani, as her back is killing her, Luckily Billy is more than willing to give her a massage before he runs off to work.


Lookit! I just had to show off Kelly's prettiness. But with Roy being so cute and another pregnancy I don't know if I'll ever choose a heir.


I also finally bought them a fish, who gets the name reference? (it should be a dog with this name, but I liked it this way)


Seee, another family member! Now lets see how long they can keep him alive.. Dani:"Are you implying that we can't take care of a goldfish?" Well yeah, since I am the one that has to remind you to feed him. Dani:"Good point.."


Pregnant lady at work here! Any clogged toilet is left that way until Dani fixes it, but she is the most handy one in the house. Shame on you Billy! xD


There's a lot of looove going around in this house lately. Dani's pregnancy seems to really have made Billy realize how much he loves her. I think it's cute. ^^


Dani had the wish to make key lime pie, and for once I let her even though I think it's ridiculously expensive food. It does look tasty. <3


Billy was hard at work helping with homework again. Billy:"Also, when you mix blue and red, you get purple!" Roy:"Sigh."


Kelly was having homework trouble again. Kelly:"What was this thing, with a + c = e, or something like that?"


Luckily the big pregnant lady was home this time. I'm thinking she's about to pop.


So yeah, Dani got working on helping Kelly. Dani:"So you see kid, it's a² + b² = c², okay?"


Roy was working on his building skills. Roy:"Loook, I built a pretty house!"


I was right, that night Dani went into labour. And for the first time Billy actually went with her. She's still the one driving, but I do see improvement! There's no cycling this time either, so that's good as well.


And here they are, Lisa and Simone Whiteside. Since they took a cab back home, Dani stored their car in her pocket. Don't ask me..


The next day Kelly's old school-friend came by, and the kids all made homework together.


I'm going to end this update by showing you all family members, and sharing their personality again.
So this is Dani Whiteside, founder, adult, she has the traits; neurotic - over-emotional - natural cook - excitable - vegetarian and her favourites are; kids music, veggie burgers and the colour lilac.

Which means this is Lisa, oldest of the twins, baby, she has the traits; absent-minded - loves the outdoors and her favourites are; classical music, hot dogs and the colour hot pink.


This is Kelly, oldest of the offspring, teen, she has the traits; family-oriented - clumsy - artistic - light sleeper and her favourites are; indie music, fish + chips and the colour sea foam.


Lastly we have Roy, only male offspring, child, he has the traits; brave - good - friendly and his favourites are; kids music, cheesesteak and the colour hot pink.

We start this update with birthdays! So yeah, I cheated. I really wanted to get started on gen 2, but didn't want to automatically leave the twins out. So I aged them up way before they were supposed to, at three separate birthdays. The upside of this all, is that after this update there will be a heir poll.


So yeah, Lisa goes first, as she is the oldest of the twins. Yay for growing up!


And then it's Simone's turn. Are we all very curious to see of they grew up?


Well, I know I am! So here's Lisa, after her make-over.


Which means this is Simone, after her make-over. Both are very cute, methinks.


Meanwhile Kelly's boyfriend seems to have grown up. They're still looking at each other all lovey-dovey, but can't do a thing with it because he's a young adult. So while he is her boyfriend, she can't kiss him. Poor girl!


Oh wait, there were even more birthdays. Actually, all kids celebrated birthdays, but I only cheated with the twins. So, all cheer for Roy!


Here he is, all grown up! Still somewhat cute to me, but he looks good. ^^


And yes, Kelly too was due to have a birthday, good thing too because she has a bald matrix-guy who loves her.


I think she's prettyyy!


I think Jameel agrees. xD


Dani has taken up on toddler-training. We all know she won't finish it, but I thought I'd at least let her try.


Lisa certainly takes after her big sister. Dani:"Such a deja-vu!"


As you can see, Jameel reaeally likes Kelly. He'd better, because I know he's cute, beneath all the clothes and baldness.


Oh and, the twins are cuuuute. I just want to squish them. <3


Since I didn't want to get Kelly married yet before I knew if she was heir or not, I had her ask Jameel to move in. This is his 'but of course'-face.


Totally random shot to show of Dani's sexy sleepwear. Dani:"40-something and proud of it!"


Look-it, happy couple in their new bedroom! The house now finally has a (small) second floor.


I decided it was time to let the twins grow up again, so here's their last 'squish the cuteness!'-shot.


This time Simone went first, because Billy hates me.


Lisa quickly followed (and yes, that fatty back there is indeed Simone, what happened?).


So here we have Simone, who's surprisingly overweight, especially when compared to her sister. They did get exactly the same food and amount, you know. Buuut, she's surprisingly upbeat! (I actually meant cute, but had to make another reference. Anyone, please?)


This is our skinny chick (skinnier then both older siblings were), Lisa. Cute as well, right?


Simone is still fast, and still somewhat my favourite of the twins because of her cute eyes.


But I luvs Lisa as well!


Oh right, since Jameel moved in, he also got a make-over. I told you he was cute underneath all of the bad stuff!


You might think, lilac laptop!? So here are Jameel's traits and favourites; Hopeless romantic, lucky, good sense of humour, over-emotional, workaholic. Electronica, cobbler, lilac. See how the laptop makes sense now?


I had Billy take up his guitar again after lots of painting, because he does desperately need those skill-points. Simone really enjoyed his music and came out to listen. Later, she and Roy danced to Billy's guitar-playing.

With Billy's garden continuing to grow, I bought him sprinklers. Dani:"Which I of course got to upgrade to auto-function. Three sprinklers! Do you know how long that takes? I'm so excited!"


So was Jameel, apparently. Jameel:"Yay, upgraded object! Stuff like this makes me so emotional." Aw man, will we ever get rid of the over-emotional people?


The kids were doing homework together. As you can see, not much of a success, but they did finish it!


Oh, I also bought them a for-fun-sprinkler. Family fun!!


Billy gave Jameel a friendly introduction. Billy:"Well hello stranger, how did you stumble upon my bathroom?" Jameel:"Erhm, sir, I'm your daughters boyfriend. I live here." Billy:"Ah.."


As I finally had some 'left-over' money, I bought Dani some recipes. She does want to learn them all, you know.


I had set Simone to go workout. Not that I dislike people with more weight on them, but she clashed with the complete thin family! And some of my custom clothes that I want to put her in make her fatter than regular ea-clothing, so she needs to loose weight.


Looook, oehh, auto-sprinklers and pretty scenery!


Kelly had discovered she was pregnant, and went to her boyfriend. Jameel:"Good job!" Kelly:"Err, thanks?"


Lisa is growing on me. Autonomous fish-feeding immediately after waking up? You're scoring points here kiddo! (I just typed a whole sentence without any typos or wrong spelling!)


The twins finally got their A's, so it was time for another birthday. Their whole childhood was about as long as Roy's toddler-being, but ssh.


This is Lisa, all grown up. Thin, but sweet.


And here we have Simone. Less thin, yet totally adorable.


Right after their birthday, the twins went to play catch. Yay for family-interactions!


Kelly had taken up to wandering around, staring at her baby brother ad boyfriend having sprinkler-fun together.


Soo, I sent her out for a swim! Kelly:"I love my pregnancy-bathing suit!"


Meanwhile Jameel had decided he didn't need textures when he was asleep. Fair enough I guess.


Schooltime! I feel bad for Roy there, but maybe he willingly decided he did not want to sit with his baby sisters. You never know, right?


Is anybody besides me giggling every time they realize these two are twins? I mean seriously, the only thing they have in common are their parents and their hair-colour.

[Last time: Lots of birthdays were celebrated, Kelly got pregnant and engaged.]

As you probably know by now, Simone was chosen heir. Thanks to everybody who voted, I really appreciate it! And I'm thrilled with your choice. ^^
Anyway, on to the daily mishap at the Whiteside-household, presented to you in a rather huge update.


Kelly realizes her water broke and labour is starting. Kelly:"Crap, this huuuuurts!"


Then the sparkles come. Kelly:"Oeh, prettyyy!"


Here she is, Dani's first grandchild, Alicia. I didn't write down her traits and favourites, because it's not like she actually matters to this legacy, right?


Now where was the father you might ask? Well, he was rummaging trough the neighbours' garbage. Because that makes perfect sense.


When wandering around town it usually becomes painfully obvious how successful IndieStone really is. Everybody is married and pregnant while still having toddlers.


Lisa has gotten herself into fishing, and she caught a rainbow-coloured fish. Meet Darris!


Now why would Billy be cheering in the bathroom?


And why would Kelly be joining him?


'Cause it's birthday time!!


Billy is an attractive old man now. So sophisticated!


Dani enjoys having her grandchild around. It's not going to last though.


Since Kelly wasn't heir, I moved her, Jameel and Alicia out, to a pretty house of their own.


Meanwhile Simone had gotten a slightly more insane makeover. Meet your heir!


While IndieStone neglected to tell me until several hours later, at least Roy magically knew that Kelly got married!


Okay, so I cheated with the birthdays again, last time, I promise! I just really wanted to start gen 2.


While blowing his candles it seems Roy has swallowed his hair. It does not look healthy.


So we fixed it. Because bald Roy with hair in his tummy is no fun. He rolled the Handy trait btw.


Do we all love his new look? Roy:"Yes we do!"


Time to get him hitched. Not bad, right?


Better, but married, as is 95% of the (young) adult citizens in Riverview.


Soo, Roy went for this lady. I can't remember her name for the life of me, but he liked her so that's all that counts.


This may seem like it went fast, but it did not! It took me about 2 days and 6 rejected first kisses until she finally kissed him. Prude.


For the first time in her life, Dani got to prepare her favourite meal, veggie burgers.


Her cooking then got interrupted, because it was time to turn old and grey. Poor girl has no luck!


I think she's still pretty. Besides, she still has her awesome lilac highlights!


it took me up until now to learn that Billy could get sponge-baths. Do you know how many shower-fights this could've prevented?! Sigh.


Oh yeah, they still have it! I find it heart-warming. ^^


I was trying to get Roy's chick to ask him to move in (since that's the cheapest way to get him to move out), but she was a bit slow, so I had him propose.


They celebrated their engagement appropriately. And yes, jingles were heard.


Seriously, how old is she? Ah well, whatever works for her, as long as she pays well. Still seems weird though, having her little brother write her biography.


In Dani's family-tree I noticed that Alicia had grown up, so I sent Lisa over to go check her out.


I think she's cuuuute!! But of course she did get good genes, if you ignore her fathers early baldness.


What I didn't realize was that I sent Lisa out after her curfew. Oopsie! xD


Since Roy had to write her biography I figured he should go see Kelly as well. He talked to her for a while, then went to Alicia. They both have such a smug look on their faces, it cracks me up. Both:"Hell yeah, we rock!"


I thought they looked sweet together. Alicia:"Swilly uncwle!"


Roy had some fun talking to Jameel after that. I just love hew they can interact and stuff while holding toddlers!


Whua, they're fast! Ah well, I blame IndieStone, lol.


Roy's chick had started showing as well. D'aaaww, such cuteness!

Here they are dancing away to Billy's rocking music. Roy:"Yeah baby!"


Both girls got an A at school by now, so I cheated their birthdays once more.


And was immediately punished by the inflammable birthday-cake. Argh!


Roy is brave, so he put the fire out. The firefighter had some 'helpful' advice though. Seriously, some of these sims.. Because of course they weren't very careful by blowing out candles, the daredevils! And this fire was planned, as are the next three but they'll try not to start any other fires meanwhile. Sigh.


Anyway, Lisa's cake hadn't blown up on her, so she got to celebrate first. Again.


And after buying Simone a new cake, she got to grow up as well.


Lisa immediately called up the guy she'd been hanging out with at school. But look at the prettiness! She rolled the trait green thumb btw.


Simone grew up mighty fine as well. And I sent her to the tv to go work out. Because you have curves and curves, and these curves were just a bit too much for me. Simone's last trait turned out to be brave. Fine with me!


Lisa's nearly-boyfriend conveniently grew up and got a makeover (which I had nothing to do with, of course) so she invited him over for some luvving.


And that's the third gen 2 offspring to be conceived in this bed (there were actually no jingles, so I had them try for baby about 40 times to make sure she actually was pregnant, hehe).


I then quickly got them engaged, to ensure that they would get married (by IndieStone) after I kicked Lisa out.


Somehow Simone lost pretty much all her extra weight after working out for an hour. Ah well, I'm not complaining!


This was when I was sure the woohoo-ing 40 times did work. I was very relieved, lol.


I sent Dani to Kelly's house, to go visit her pregnant daughter and her granddaughter.


She and Alicia hit it off quick enough, and shared lots of laughs.


Oh yeah, somewhere in between this pic and the twins' birthday, Roy moved in with his girlfriend (okay, so I switched households and made her ask him, but still) so when Simone walked into him, while on man-hunt, she was delighted to see him!


Although I'm wondering, when both he and that chick are here, who's watching their baby-boy Elias?


Random townie clearly disapproves of literally topless other random townie (I can not locate this borked download and it's so annoying!), which made me truly lol.


Meanwhile Simone had finally found a good-looking single boy-toy. The single part was the hardest to find, man IndieStone does it's work good.

While Simone was on her way home with her newly found boyfriend Kenyon I discovered that Lisa had started showing and was still caring for her fish Darris.


Simone and Kenyon arrived and quickly went up to Simone's future bedroom (I changed every purple in the room to green, since that's Simone's favourite colour).


Soo, do you think that this is the fourth couple conceiving in this bed?


Simone thought she'd do it the same way as her sister, propose right after woohoo.


It didn't work out. So I had them queue up a whole lot of romantic interactions and went to check on the rest of the family.


Dani was bonding with Lisa's unborn kid. Cuteness!


It was time to move Lisa out though, so I had her go to her fiancé's place, and then switched active households so he could ask her to move in with him.
They enjoyed preparing marshmallows and fish together, under the starry sky.


He sucked at it, but anyway. xD


I returned to Simone crying on Kenyon's shoulder, because he refused her proposal. Yah, that'll really change his mind.


Hah, apparently it did. Sims make no sense!


No kidding Sherlock! They're engaged, expecting and living together. It would make sense if they've been flirting, don't ya think?


What do you know, he even agreed to move in. Gooo Simone!


Post-makeover. He cleans up pretty well, I'd say. Here is his info btw: couch potatoe, hates the outdoors, genius, green thumb, charismatic. Likes; pop music, fruit parfait, the colour white.


Simone:"Gee, my husband-to-be is so annoying. He's like totally in my way!" What a heart-warming welcome she gives him..


I had Dani prepare Kenyon's favourite food, as a welcoming gesture. He was rather excited!
I'm also thinking that somewhere around this time Lisa had her boy, Tucker, after getting married.

It's been a while, sorry about that.


We return to Simone realizing she's pregnant. Hurrah, generation 3 is on it's way!


Generation 1 and 2 are neurotic as ever. Simone:"What's wrong with brushing my teeth three times in a row? Seems perfectly normal to me."


Billy is still gardening away, and has recently achieved skill level 10 in gardening. He's always seemed to enjoy gardening, I think it has to do with the solitude of it, since Billy is a loner.


Kenyon is following in his father-in-laws footsteps and starts working at the theatre. In the background you can see Billy rocking away on the guitar. Soon after he fulfilled his lifetime wish by having maximum painting and guitar playing skills. I'd say he's doing quite well!


Simone and Dani have taken up reading. Dani is working on learning all the recipes, Simone is reading pregnancy books.


Whenever Dani isn't reading she has a big grin on her face. Dani:"I can't wait for that baby to be born, it's such an emotional experience!"


Mother and daughter, bonding over the next generation. Cute!


Kenyon is awfully excited as well, I think it's quite sweet.


So excited that he decided it was time to get married. It was private and tiny, in their bedroom, but lovely nonetheless. There were goofy grins everywhere, and lots of luuuvvv. Apparently. Simone:"Hey!"


Cuteness ensues. Ever since she started showing Simone really seems to be enjoying the sprinkler.


Loook, pregnant belly in the shower! The fact that there's a download which fixed that makes me very happy.


Kenyon can't wait for the baby to be here. It shouldn't be too long any more.


Meanwhile, Dani completed her lifetime wish by learning the very last available recipe. Too bad she never gets to cook..


Labour! Dani and Kenyon:"What do we doooooo?!" Simone:"Guuuuys!"


Even though Simone's mum and husband put all their energy into freaking out together and at each other, everything worked out in the end.


And twin boys were born! Meet Mike and Tony Whiteside. Tony is a vegetarian virtuoso who loves pop music and mac & cheese. He enjoys violet-coloured items. His twin Mike is a virtuoso who loves the outdoors. He likes eating lobster thermidor from turquoise plates while listening to classical music.


Since Kenyon has a green thumb I've made him work on taking over the garden. Downside is that he hates the outdoors, so he doesn't find it very enjoyable. However, I will not let this talent go to waste. Kenyon:"Hrmph."


Billy has reached the top of his career, and has quite the ride. Soon after he retired though, because with twins I can use all extra hands that are available.


Simone got a mini-makeover. Hooray for glitter blush, 3-coloured contacts and blue highlights!


With both grandparents retired and caring for the twins, Kenyon and Simone celebrated some precious 'mummy and daddy'-time.


See? Retired grandpa makes for a great caretaker.


Same goes for retired grandma. The twins hardly saw their actual parents so far.


And before you know it, it's birthday time!


Erhm, yeah, make-over time!

Meanwhile it seems Kenyon and Simone's celebration had some consequences. One consolation is that there's no room for triplets, so it'll be a second pair of twins in the worst-case scenario.


Simone however is not enjoying the parental duties that come with having toddlers. Simone:"Eeeeeewwww!!"


Family-minded Simone was still happy to discover she was pregnant again.


She was less happy when her sister's husband tried to flirt with her. Simone:"Seriously? I'm married, pregnant and your sister-in-law. Seriously?"


Before the baby got here, the whole family wanted to make sure the twins were properly trained. So synchronised toddler-training ensued.


It's still there. Whenever Dani and Billy are of toddler-duty they love spending some quality time together. Old people love is cute!


This is purely for the purpose of spamming the cuteness. Seriously, the chat interaction with toddlers is one of the cutest things I've ever seen.


More synchronized training and cuteness. It never seems to stop!

Also, babeh timez.


Simone does not approve. Simone:"Sigh, this whole birthing thing is no fun."


She drives herself and Kenyon to the hospital, following in her mothers footsteps. Simone:"You don't really think I'd let him drive did you? After the way he freaked out last time? Men are useless when childbirth comes around."


They return home with twin girls. Simone isn't too happy about taking a cab. Simone:"Well, you wouldn't be to cheery with a car stuffed in your pocket either." Fair enough.


Meet Fey and Claire Whiteside. Fey is an easily impressed virtuoso. Pop music makes her want to dance, and hot dogs and grey skies make her happy. Her sister Claire is a good kid who, like her sister, is easily impressed. Kids music is her favourite, she loves the taste of fruit parfait and anything aqua-coloured cheers her up.


Also, cuteness!


We end this update showing that in his heart, Kenyon truly is a loving, doting father.

Also, I am hereby warning you for an overload of cuteness. Just saying.


Since I was hoping on another magic gnome, I sent Simone out to go collect stuff. Her parents have the kids covered anyway, and she's jobless, so it's not like she has anything better to do.


Besides celebrating birthdays, that is. I'm surprised she even got to hold a child, usually the sims they have the highest relationship with get to do that. Which in this case would most likely be both grandparents.


Anyway, here we see Mike sparkling up. Mike:"Wheeeee!"


And Tony gets to sparkle his way into childhood as well.


Here they are all grown up. I'm not entirely sure which trait they got (my mom threw my notes out by accident) but I'm guessing Mike got 'good' and Tony got 'easily impressed'. If not, then they got those traits when turning into teens.

This is where my game started hating on me. I kept getting save error 12 and 13, all the freakin' time. So I completely redid my downloads, and emptied out the neighbourhood (deleting all households that didn't hold family members or potential spouses). Apparently, it did the trick.


But it did mean that I lost Simone's hairdo. And some of her outfits as well. So she got another make-over. I like her new look though.


Dani's hairdo also managed to leave me behind, so she got a tiny make-over of her own. I preferred her previous look, but this will do.


The next morning it was time for the first day of school for the twins. Aren't they cuuuute? Bus drivers are still receiving very suspicious looks though.


Also, the girl twins were ready to grow up. Fey is sparkling happily here.


Claire is bursting with the excitement of growing up.


LOOK AT THE CUTENESS!!!! Ehrm, *cough* yeah, the blonde one is Claire, Fey got her mothers hair colour.


Kenyon also had a birthday. He now has wrinkles, nothing else changed (also, look at his awesome new outfit!).


As you may see, there is no logical storyline in this update, more like random loose events.
But anyway, Billy here made his first masterpiece. And happily sniffled about that. Billy:"This makes me so emotional!"


While Dani was still here, I decided to have her prepare left-overs for the family. Apparently she does not trust her food processor at all.


The girl twins are still awfully cute. Just so you know.


Simone seems to get slightly more insane, now that she's getting close to yet another birthday. Mid-life crisis, anyone? Simone:"So not true!"


Dani's bar filling up also reminded me that some stuff around the house still needed upgrading. So off she went.


Meanwhile Billy and Simone were occupied with toddler-training.


Mike is growing on me even more, autonomous fish-feeding for the win!


I think Simone might have a hidden sixth sense. Simone:"Wait what? Nobody is going to die silly, I was just discussing with me and myself."


Look Billy paints with sparkles coming from his paintbrush. This game keeps surprising me with it's sparkliness.


Then suddenly, this happened. I was stunned. Before one of my failed saves, Dani went and died on me, but since I got an error it never actually happened. So for 4 days I was expecting her to die, then suddenly Billy pulls this on me.


Although he didn't seem ready to go yet, so I won't blame him. It was very sad, my first sim to truly die, in game, without my interference.


Simone tried to cure her mom's grieving, but it backfired and made Dani faint. Way to go. Simone:"I was just trying to help..." I know love, I know.


Kenyon and Simone had their own ways of dealing with the pain.


Which also had it's consequences. This will be Simone's last pregnancy though, as it brings the child-count up to a minimum of 5, which will complete her wish.


Soon enough Billy came by for a visit, and got to comfort a grieving Dani.


His being there quickly cheered her up though.


But as the morning light arrived, Billy left, and Dani was left alone with her broken heart. I hate seeing her so sad.


The circle of life continues though, and another Whiteside-member was definitely on it's way.


So before everything got too much to handle, toddlers had to be trained.


Even Dani decided to help out, and managed to take her mind off Billy for a bit.


With trained and independent toddlers, Simone didn't really have much to do, besides hoping she'd have another girl, while enjoying the warmth of the fire.


Kenyon was excited about the new baby as well. Kenyon:"This one is the last one, right?!" Yeahyeah..


The boy twins are being slightly neglected this update, since they're just at school all the time. But look, still cute!


Dani loved spending time with her two youngest granddaughters. Chatting away with Claire cheered her up.


As did giving tickle-deaths to Fey. Both girls love her.


Meanwhile Simone was growing bigger and bigger, and seemed very happy.

Dani is very excited about another grandchild as well. Somewhere around this time Kelly had another girl, so Simone's baby will make a total of 10 grandchildren.

We start this update with a look at how Simone's relatives turned out. I sent Simone cycling around town, to check how her siblings were doing.


This is Lisa's hubbie, who's name is escaping me. Still looks pretty much the same, though I think he´s close to turning into an adult.


Here we have Lisa's only child (so far), Tucker.


And Lisa herself, fresh out of work. I still love her look.


Cycling to the next family brings us to Kelly's house. Shown here is her husband (the one that tried to flirt with Simone..).


Kelly herself is now a full-grown adult, but apparently still not done having children.


This is her youngest (at the time), Mendy. I have no clue where her blonde hair came from, but cute!


Her only boy is named Ellis (blame EA, not me).


Looking more like her mom with each day that passes we have Alicia.


Another house brings us to Roy's loving family. This is his son, Elias (again, blame EA).


Roy's wife, who has not gotten prettier when aging..


Lastly, Roy, who's still kinda cute. So far no child has gotten Dani's lilac eyes, which is a shame.


Simone was happy to get out of the house for a bit.


Leaving Naomi in Dani's excellent care. I'm happy with the fact that all Simone's kids got to know their grandmother.


The boys are still cute, and love spending time together.


The next morning I noticed something in Dani's family tree. Tucker had grown up! So I went and snapped a picture as he was heading out to school.


Simone surprised me by actually caring for Naomi, most of the time she lets Dani handle the babies.


Wait what? You just gave birth to your fifth child and now seems like a good moment to break up? Simone:"I blame hormones."


Both Mike a Toby are always quick to complete their homework, giving them time to jump around in the sprinklers.


No way! And just hours after wanting to break up? What is wrong with you Simone? Simone:"No comment."


Before we knew it the boys had a birthday coming up.


Three generations were there to celebrate.


I present to you: Toby! His latest trait is good. It seems to be turning into a family trait all on it's own.


Next up is Mike! I am totally favouring him. He is now a neurotic, just like his grandmother.


Also, look, cuuuuuute!


This totally reminds me of Lisa and Simone, so different, yet twins!


While out and about Simone managed to acquire a ladybug and a striped butterfly. Both got names, but I'm not sure what she named the butterfly. I'm guessing something awfully lame like Stripe. Anyway, the ladybug is Dot, and Simone is admiring her latest pets.

Even though no more babies are being made, Simone and Kenyon still manage to make time for one another.

Since it was a Sunday-night, the whole family was home. Hurrah..


Lol. At least something good came out of Dani's passing, I guess.


Dani wasn't ready to go yet, even though she knew she'd be joining Billy.


Simone was devastated, and turned to her first-born for consolation.


I don't know what happened here. We'll blame it on the heart-break of her mothers passing..

Let me start this update by warning you, nothing very exciting happens. Although you do get to see all kids as teens, and it ends with the gen 3 heir poll.


Here we have Simone, enjoying her favourite meal.


With Dani and Billy gone, and Kenyon working, it's Simone's job to do the toddler training.


I finally gave in and bought some more toddler-toys. Simone and Naomi wasted no time and immediately started using them.


Although Naomi is having a bit of a hard time getting the blocks to fit in.


Meanwhile the weekend was finally over, so the girls were off to their first days of school.

After a long day of school and homework, all the kids need to unwind a bit. Sprinklers are perfect for that!

Teaching her to talk was no easy task though, according to Simone.


Before I knew it, it was birthday-day again! Simone:"Please, no more cake!" Too bad my dear, we're not done yet.


Here we have Claire, who's becoming clumsier every day, like her twin sister.


And Fey, who has miraculously discovered that she's in fact a great kisser.


But there was another birthday to be celebrated! Naomi is joining the school-going gang.


She's still quite cute, and has developed a bit of a hatred for pools and the alike. You could even say she hydrophobic.


She shows this off by crying over taking a shower. Sorry kid, but you have to get clean.


The next day, Claire brings a boy home. Cute! This reminds me of the fact that I should start getting these kids hooked up.


But first homework has to be finished.


This kept happening to me. Mike would meet a cute girl at school, and as soon as I invited her over, she celebrated her birthday and was a young adult. This one even stole my football! Tsssjk.


D'aaw, first kiss! I never thought my little genius would be the first of all the kids with that.


And he even agreed to be her boyfriend. How sweet!


That night, Dani finally came by for a visit. It was about time. Dani:"Hello to you too.."


The whole family failed in autonomous feeding, so Morris the fish passed away.


Soon after, so did Starlight. But, we now have Starlight II and Morris II swimming around. Let's see how long they'll survive.


Aww, look at that. It's just like when they were still alive. They're even on the correct sides of the bed.


Suddenly, the weekend was there. So I sent all the teens out into town to go searching for a partner.


I'm telling you, underneath the brows and the baldness, she's cute! I'm convinced.


She wouldn't let Mike kiss her though. Mike:"But... You're bald!"

No more successes were had, so they all went home, to bed, and woke up on a lovely Sunday.


Mike's girl had a miraculous make-over, and was indeed, cute.


And Mike got his first kiss! How sweet.


Claire invited this kid over, and he seemed to really like Fey.


Fey even managed to have her first kiss without me telling her to, so I missed it.. Ah well, at least she likes him.


Loook! Mike got himself a girlfriend!


And Fey tied the knot as well. Now we only have Tony left.


You might be wondering where Tony and Naomi were during all the kissing. Well, as you can see Naomi was fishing (all day long). Tony was on the phone with a girl he likes, but she keeps refusing to come over, so nothing interesting has happened there yet.


The day ends with the boy twins painting, Naomi fishing, and the girl twins playing chess together.


On Monday, Simone's family tree tells me that Lisa had her kid and it's already a toddler. This is Shanna, Lisa's little girl.


That night, Simone's lifetime wish was coming true. She'd raised 5 children from tiny babies to their teens.


The family's youngest was growing up. Naomi:"This doesn't feel right.."


Here she is, all grown up. Living in such a busy house has taught Naomi to sleep trough just about anything. She's quite the heavy sleeper now.


We end this update with Fey being silly. And showing off her tongue piercing.
