Description: Remembering your wedding Day? How about the romantic proposal, the crazy or not so crazy preparations, and parties before that special unforgetable day?  Whether it was last year or 60 years ago, we would love for you to share it with us.

Rules: Mainly basic photoshopping, unless otherwise stated in Round or MT directions.  You may add small elements to enhance your shots (sun, moon, stars, etc.) If you have questions about what is allowed please pm me and ask so that it can be approved.

All pictures should not be smaller than 600 x 450, and not to exceed 800 x 600 height or width.  

Bride and groom need to be of your creation and/or ingame born. Edit: One half of the couple can be someone elses sim if they have given you permission to use their sim.  The other half of the couple must be of your creation.

There will be 3 rounds, and additional For Fun Mini Task/Optional pictures for each one.  

Each round will have a wide picture requirement range:

Name: Yolane Kinared
Age: 26
Each of you tell us a little about yourself: I'm the house wife who doesn't cook or clean, but I want a family soon. I take pride in my home. However, I'm not always there. I'm more likely to be out shopping and/or with my girlfriends.

Name: Billy Kinard
Age: 28
Each of you tell us a little about yourself: I was the team captain of the san dieago chargers, but now I am retiring and I am looking forward to spending more time with my lovely wife.

Where did you meet for the first time?
Yolane: At a Chargers dinner, my father had done buisness with the owner of the team. It just so happened that I sat across from Billy. We could not stop talking.
Was it love at first sight and what first attracted you to each other?
Billy: No, it took time for our relationship to grow. Her smile was the first thing that attracted me. Her teeth are so white.
When did you get married, and was there a special reason for that day?
Yolane: We got married in April of '09, because it was spring and the weather at that is perfect. Not too cold, but not too hot either. Also, the flowers always blossom in spring. So we had a brighter and happier atmosphere.

~*Round One - The Proposal*~

The night was perfect. The sky was crystal clear and the shimmering stars where as bright as ever. Billy was driving me somewhere for my birthday. I had no idea where he was taking me and it was obvious that he was nervous. We hadn’t made much conversation yet, and I took notice of the sweat on his forhead. I new that he was busting to tell me about what was ahead, but nothing was going to make him talk about it. Billy would always be like this when he would have a surprise planned. So nothing seemed to be out of the ordinarry.

 I tried to get some conversation going to relax him and release his nerves. “You look handsome tonight,” I said.
“Thanks,” He nervously mumbled as he wipped his forhead. “You don’t look too bad yourself. Is that a new dress by the way?”
“Of course,” I laughed as I de creased the dress with my hand. “It’s Balmain, do you like it?”
“Yes, it looks beautiful, Is that bag new too?”
“No… don’t you remember? You bought this for my last birthday,”
“Oh yeah, that’s right.”
“Speaking of presents…” I joked.
“It’s in the back, but your not opening it until we get there?”
I looked back and in the back seat, there was a red Cartier shopping bag. I was thrilled. Billy would always get me an amazing gift, but nothing as flash as something from Cartier. I couldn’t help, but wonder what was inside that red bag. “Mabye it’s diamond ear rings, or a pearl necklace,” I quietly mumbled to myself.

It wasn’t long before we had arrived at the mysterious destination.
“Okay, close your eyes,” said Billy as he help me out of his car. “No peeking,”
“I’m not,” gripping Billy’s hand and keeping my eyes shut.
“You can open them now.”
I opened my eyes and I could not believe it. Billy took me to the …. Resturant. I had always wanted to go to before, but they were always booked solled.
“Surprise!” Billy smilled.
“Ough my gawd Billy, Is that where we are going tonight?”  My eyes sparkled as I spoke.
“Yeah, we sure are.”
“But you have to book months ahead.”
“I’m a football star babe, I can pull some strings accacionally.”
“You’re the best boyfriend ever!” I shreiked.

As we entered the resturant I was taken back by the beauty by the décor inside. It was so nicely set out. The night was becoming the best birthday that I’d ever had. However, the ‘host’ was making me think otherwise.

Billy aproached the front desk. “Reservation for Kinard, please.”
“No way! It’s you!” the host excitedely responded.
“Have I done something wrong?” Billy questioned.
“No, offcorse not.” the host laughed. “It’s just that I think you’re awesome, man.”
I quickely figured out that we had ran into one of Billy’s fans.
“I mean you’re skills on the field, man are like.. amazing”
“Thanks, It’s always nice to meet fan.”
I couldn’t help but giggle behind Billy. The host’s grin was so big when he saw Billy.
“Would you sign an autograph for me?” the host smiled.
“Not right now sorry, It’s my girlfriend’s birthday and we really want to spend some quallity time togther, so we would really like to be seated please.”
“Oh, yes sorry about that outburst sir,” said the host relising trying to make himself seem more professional. “I’m just a big fan.”
“It’s fine, I’ll sign you something when I leave.”
“Thank you so much sir, please follow me this way to your table.”

Our table was set out emaculatelly and the view was amazing. “Whoa, the food here on the menu has some flash names.” I said.
“Yes, I can’t tell what’s what in here.”
“Well, Thank you for taking me here.”
“Your welcome, I’m glad that you are happy.”
Billy reached into the Cartier bag (which he brought in from his car) and pulled out a small box.
“Now Yolane,” Billy smiled. “The past three years have been the best years of my life because I got to spend them with you.”
“I’m so happy that you feel that way.”
“I think it’s about time that we take our relationship to the next level.”
“Yes?”
“So Yolane,” Billy opened the small box, revealling a ring. “Will you marry me?”
“Ough godness,” I said. “Yes.”

Names of the happy couple: Asia Hall and Lance Montgomery
Ages: 28 and 32 respectively

Each of you tell us a little about yourself.
Asia: Well I'm a Caterer/Events planner and this has always been my dream. I have been around food for all of my life, that is one of the greatest things that I've gotten from my mother - the great love for for food and planning. I graudated from the Hospitality Institute about 7 years ago and built my own company and the rest is history.

Lance: I'm a restaurant owner, I had my own business at age 22 due to the constant pushing of my father, who served as the Comissioner to the police. He didn't want me to be working for someone, so he pushed me to open my own business. He gave me my first loan, helped me finance it and in 2002 - Soi Qems was established and opened. I will probably use the words practical, team player and sexy to describe me.

Where did you meet for the first time?
Asia: We met at his restaurant, Soi Qems which happens to be my favourite restaurant.

Lance: Her bestfriend Shelby contacted me several weeks before Asia's birthday and asked me to do three things: Play Maxwell all night long, have the Coconut-Strawberry cheesecake coming and to cook Asia's favourite food, which happens to be Cubana Salsa Shrimp in a White wine sauce.

Asia: It was perfect night. I wanted to thank the chef and the owner of Soi Qems personally and when he came out. Let's just say I was even more happy.

Was it love at first sight and what first attracted you to each other?
Lance: I would definitely say it was love at first sight.

Asia: Definitely.

Lance: I've never met anyone like Asia, I mean look at her, she's beautiful, independent and successful. And what attracted me to her was her smile, it's gorgeous.

Asia: And I would say what attracted me to Lance was the way his butt looked in those chef pants. Yummy. Of course that night I was a bit drunk, but his body spoke out to me. *laughs* Seriously speaking, though, his smooth voice caught my attention the first time he came out of the kitchen with my birthday cake and sang happy birthday. That was definitely the icing on the cake. *laughs*

When did you getting married, and was there a special reason for that day?
Lance: We got married on the 14th of March 2009, which is Asia's birthday and the same day that we first met.

ROUND ONE: THE PROPOSAL

Asia: Lance called when my meeting with the local conference services had ended asking me to come over to his house for 7:30 p.m. Knowing how my day usually go, I knew for sure that I would be late and I was. I was an hour late. I left work at 6:45, got stuck in traffic, then I couldn't find the appropriate dress to wear, then I remembered the red dress that Lance sent for me two days before. I arrived around 8:35 p.m. with my shoes in hand but was welcomed with a soft kiss.



Lance: I then led her to my living room, with her favourite song at the moment, Pretty Wings by Maxwell was on repeat and softly playing.

Asia: The lights were on dim, and the Lavendar and Vanilla scented candles set the atmosphere for the room. Plus my song was playing. I could tell that Lance was nervous, but I was totally unaware of why. He is usually this charming and spontaneous throughout our relationship, so I thought nothing of it. He gave me a glass of my favourite red wine - Rosehall Run Pinot Noir Cuvée County 2007 and began to smile.



Lance: I wanted her to relax, but I was nervous as hell, I recited the words of a old poem I wrote and then handed her 30 white long stem roses and a small white envelope with the instructions to head out to the deck.

Asia: And as I walked unto the deck, the scent of vanilla and apricot candles filled the air with the nice aroma of Sushi, which is another favourite food of mine. There was a black rock fountain with a rythmatic gushes of water which sent amazing chills down my spine. We were having dinner under the stars tonight. And I loved it.



Asia: Over dinner, we reminsced of our past three years together, the ups and the downs but most importantly the ups.

Lance: I asked her about her dreams, and clearly I was apart of them. Which led me to be more relaxed, knowing we both wanted the same things in life.

Asia: Dinner was great, as we ate and talk and was surrounded by the voice of Maxwell, I finally got the urge that something was up. So after Lance cleared the tables, he led me over to the fountain.



Lance: And that was when the magic started. I got down on one knee and gave it ago.

Asia: At that point in time, I was busy watching the fountain until he cleared his throat and stated my full name, "Asia Heather Hall"

Lance: She was crying, and I didn't even ask her to marry me yet... *laughs*

Asia: At that point, my knees got weak, I felt hot and cold at the same time, I saw his lips moving but I wasn't hearing, it wasn't until he opened that Royal Blue suede box, that I knew he was asking me to marry him.



Asia: I didn't even know if I said yes, I remember though that I leapt into his arms.

Lance: She screamed yes, then I picked her up and whispered, "I love you" in her ear.



Asia and Lance: It was perfect and it was meant to be.
