Multiple Entries Allowed: No
Photo shopping: Only the basics allowed; blur, sharpening, etc.

Decorate and Re Design this starter home for your sims.

The house is part of the extra houses that are installed with Bon Voyage. It is called Friendly Firmament. If you do not have Bon Voyage or the house in game I've provided download links for you. Just run the cleaner and you should be good to go.

Rules


Do not remove or add any outside walls, the shape of the house must stay the same. Do not add another floor. You can however use half walls or add balconies and such. Add whatever roof or roofing you would like.

The house has to maintain it's original outside shape.

You can add other structure(s) to the lot, but do not directly attached them/it to the house. Bridges or overpasses can be used as attachments devices. Cases would be a garage, greenhouse, shed, Gazebo, outhouse, playground... whatever floats your boat. You don't have to do this however.

You can add any body of water to the lot such as pools or streams...

You can replace all windows, doors, fences and stairs and place them where ever you like.

You can gut the inside of the house. Just follow the room guidelines of what is required in the house.

You may decorate the outside and inside for the before picture as a run down house.



These rooms must be included in the house:


A kitchen
Living room
Dining room (can be combined with the living room)
One masterbedroom
One full bathroom
One extra room to be used as a hobby room

Whatever style you've choosen for your house decorate the landscape the outside to match.


Picture Requirements...
At least two before pictures (One needs to be the front of the house)
Two after pictures (One needs to be the front of the house)
Two pictures of each room for a total of 12 room pictures
3-4 landscaping pictures
3-4 extra free shots if you want.
Total miniumum 19
Total Maxiumum 24

Please include the Before and After shots on your entry (sizes 600 by 800 (either way))
For the rest of your pictures include them in a photoalbum with a link (such as imageshack or photobucket)

I love house contests!!!! Do we decorate the inside of the house? Sorry to ask it seems unclear to me.  The answer is probably in my face I just don't see it. <.<   I suck I know!

Can we change the roof type, too, and does the price still have to be under 20,000?  Also, I noticed that the sims2pak contains that extra mailbox file that is nearly impossible to get rid of, so if anyone doesnt want it in their game, be sure to uncheck it when isntalling the lot.

Sorry get rid of the mail box. There is no money limit and you can change everything but where the four outside walls are.

Yezzie, I'm a bit confused do you want us to post on the thread only outside before and after picture?  Oh and also do you want us to post our own before as in a trashed house that needs repair?

I worked on this last night....actually all night damn insomnia!  LOL!  But I don't think I have the pictures you are asking for as for as before.

Yeah only the before and after pictures actually on the thread. You can redo the front like you did for the before and take a pic or just take a pic as the house is in your game. Just to make sure everyone has the same basic house.

For the rest of the pictures upload them to photobucket or imageshack in a folder and then post the folder. I dont want to overload the thread with pictures since there are so many.

Im a little bit confused as well. We can tear down the inside walls right but not the outside correct? And nothing can be connected to the house as far as another building, but fences right?

I have a great idea already for the house. I cant wait to get started.

oh ok cool!  I love remaking the houses I spend mindless hours doing that.  By the time I finish decorating I'm too tired to actually play the sim I moved in.  LOL!
